What an amazing jeep tour up through Hurricane and Smith Mesas, across the top of Kolob and back to Virgin. Been visiting the area for a few years but nothing tops the amazing vistas from 6000 feet, views all the way to the Grand Canyon. Green mountain meadows framed by Zion Canyon escarpments are beyond belief. Thank you Dan for helping us make the most of our sunset tour. We're looking forward to our next trip all the more.

Thank you for your informative and amazing guided tour. Although familiar with Zion and its gracious beauty, after experiencing your service I gained more knowledge and lore pertaining to the surrounding areas and the land... before walking 6 feet I received pages of information. I recommend everyone, local and visitor, take a ride with Zion Jeep Tours!!!

Zion Canyon National Park is beautiful. Zion Canyon is SPECTACULAR at sunset! One of the tour guides at Zion Outback Safaris, took us outside of the canyon and onto Smith Mesa for a tour that surpasses the generic national park tour with area history and anecdotes, geologic and botanical information. There's not a bad seat in the custom trucks with stadium type seating for twelve. You can't beat the sunset tour with Zion Outback Safaris! If you're ever in the area, call 435-668-3756 to schedule your tour!

This was a great choice and we toured around UTAH mountains. Saw some old farm towns and pitched rocks off the canyon. Very relaxed tour. Not a rush at all. Kids enjoyed it. Tour guide was very familiar with the history of Utah and its attractions.

We booked the sunset jeep tour and Dustin picked us up at our hotel (The Cliffrose Lodge). I could tell upon meeting Dustin that this was going to be a great experience. The "jeep" is covered and holds about 12 people, and our tour was full. Dustin took us outside of Springdale to the back of Zion NP, up in the mesas where meadows abound at about 6000 elevation. It was so interesting to see the ranches up there and to learn the history of the area. Dustin was extremely knowledgeable about everything and answered all of our questions expertly. We then went to an area which was perfect for watching the sunset and we were in awe of the spectacular beauty of it. Only about 15 minutes of our tour was after dark, at which time we were almost back to Springdale and Dustin was giving us pointers on where the good food was in town. (: This tour is by no means a "wild ride" so don't be afraid. It gives you the opportunity to see sights that you never would have seen. DO THIS!!! Is well worth it.

We took the sunset tour as a way to see more than just Zion Canyon. Very glad we did. The trip took us up onto the high ground to the south west and was fascinating - 2 aussies mixing it with 6 others from the US east coast - Bruce, our driver and commentator, was knowledgeable and relaxed. We love hearing more about the lives and history of people living in these places and the scenery was wonderful. Very good value.

We did the sunset safari tour on 9/12/12. Picked up right at the front door of our hotel in Springdale, we were treated to a backroads tour of the Zion buttes & mesas ( all wonderfully explained to us by our guide & driver Bruce)The sunset was inspiring, the landscapes are amazing, the backroad driving will keep you wide awake for sure!

We made the reservation at the last minute and were able to get on the sunset tour. We were picked up at our hotel. We had a great time and the tour guide was very informative. We had a great 3 hour ride up and down the mesas. It was great and well worth the price. It was good fun.

Ed and I had the most awesome time on these tours. We booked both tours and would recommend them to anybody. This was an opportunity to really get into the back country and truly enjoy the view without having to worry about maps and navigation. Our questions were actively encouraged and answered. The conversation was relaxed and comfortable, definitely not a canned speech from a script. We had such a good time that we were considering taking the sunset tour again just to see if we missed anything.

Our guide Bruce was fantastic. His knowledge of the terrain, the history, the evolving ecology, the folklore, and even the local farmers and landowners was communicated with humor and enthusiasm. We loved the ride. Special thanks to Bruce for your graciousness and your expertise in making this such a great experience.

This is not your typical "jeep" tour!! None of that up & down big boulders, jerked around ride. This is truly an amazing trip into the back country of the Zion area. Great chance to travel where you wouldn't dream you could. Dustin is a walking encyclopedia of information. Besides all the beautiful vistas you get all the great background & history about the area. This is a must do on your itinerary, you will be glad you did. Thanks Dustin.
